Developing Technology-Enabled Long-Term Services and Supports for a New Population of Older Adults
A Collection of 18 Case Studies from Pioneers in the Field

EWA member LeadingAge addresses the role of technology in the future of long-term aging service providers, looking at business models for both improving efficiency and providing quality care to a growing number of older adults. Within the case studies, LeadingAge looks at a variety of aging service providers, ranging from nursing homes to private homes. The study examines a wide variety of technologies, such as infrastructure technologies, safety technologies, health & wellness technologies, documentation technologies, and social networking technologies. Additionally, it highlights promising new business models and the challenges and benefits of new developments.
