Family Matters: Multigenerational Families in a Volatile Economy
Tuesday, December 6, 2011, 10–11 am
The number of multigenerational families is on the rise. In this challenging economic landscape, how are these families coping and what can we do to help?Join Generations United on December 6th for a provocative discussion on the multigenerational perspective in America and ways to forge a new, stronger policy dialogue that recognizes that it is not a fight, it is family.
Generations United’s newest report Family Matters: Multigenerational Families in a Volatile Economy elevates a different framework that considers and supports the growing interdependence of generations in America. It includes the results of a new public opinion survey on the current state of intergenerational interdependence and makes recommendations for public policy strategies that value and engage all generations.
